我们生活中用的纯净水桶有两桶，一种是PC材质的纯净水桶，一种是PET材质的纯净水桶。两种桶在本质上有着很大的差别，纯净水桶直接影响我们所饮用的水质。

PC材质纯净水桶

PC是聚碳酸酯的简称，聚碳酸酯的英文是Polycarbonate，简称PC工程塑料。PC是一种综合性能优良的非晶型热塑性树脂，具有优异的电绝缘性、延伸性、尺寸稳定性及耐化学腐蚀性，较高的强度、耐热性和耐寒性；还具有自熄、阻燃、无毒、可着色等优点。

PC桶材质比较硬。熔点高，耐高温，PC桶的熔点在280度。

在通常情况下温度不超过180度就不会对桶产生任何质变。开水的温度通常是在100度左右，所以，PC桶可以直接装开水，并且不会发生任何变化。

因此，PC材质应用在纯净水桶中，是再好不过了。

PET材质的纯净水桶

聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯，英文名：polyethylene terephthalate，简称PET，为高聚合物，由对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯发生脱水缩合反应而来。

Poly (ethylene terephthalate), English Name: polyethylene terephthalate, referred to as PET, is a high polymer derived from the dehydration and condensation reaction of ethylene terephthalate.

PET 是乳白色或浅黄色、高度结晶的聚合物，表面平滑有光泽。PET桶材质比较软，透明度比较高。

PET is milky white or light yellow, highly crystalline polymer with a smooth and lustrous surface. PET barrel material is relatively soft, high transparency.

PET桶曾经在电视中爆出过饮水安全问题。长期饮用PET桶装水的致癌概率比普通概率高出27%。我国的国家质监局也曾经禁止PET材质在水桶中的应用。

PET不耐热，在该材质的桶暴漏在高温或者开水中时候，该种材质就会受热分解产生出有害的毒素。PET材质应用在水桶中，它可以应用在不加热的饮料瓶中。

两种桶的分辨方法：

Method for distinguishing two kinds of buckets:

1、通过颜色进行判断，颜色比较亮，通透感比较强的是PET材质纯净水桶。

2、软硬度对比，PC桶材质比较硬，PET桶材质比较软，用手在常力下进行加压，容易变形的就是PET桶。
