记者走访发现，目前市面上的桶装纯净水水桶主要有两种材质：一种是PC材质，一种是PET材质，但价格却相差很大。它们究竟有何区别？据市质监局法制科科长杨俊英介绍，合格的水桶是PC材质的，水桶外部透明光滑，桶体呈淡蓝色并有蓝光，质地均匀无杂质，耐磨、耐高温，市场价格每个在40元左右。而不合格的水桶则是PET材质的，虽然外表也是蓝色的，但是与PC材质相比，透明度差，做工粗糙，在高温下容易产生致癌物，市场价格每个在10元左右。
